Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026. This policy explains what Great Outdoor Cottages collects through greatoutdoorcottages.com, why, who else sees it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information you give us

The only information this site asks for is what you type into a form. Depending on the form, that is your name, email address, phone number, the subject and message, and, on the careers form, the resume file you attach.

Form submissions are emailed to Great Outdoor Cottages and are not stored in a database on this website. Resumes are attached to that email and are not kept on the site. If you sign up for our newsletter, your email address is stored by our email provider until you unsubscribe.

2. Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, logs the ordinary technical details every web server records: IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.

Beyond that, nothing measures you unless you say yes. Analytics and advertising tags are switched off until you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

3. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (for example __cf_bm or cf_clearance) to tell real visitors apart from automated traffic. It does not identify you and is not used for analytics or advertising, so it is not covered by the cookie banner.

Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and never leaves your device. If you opt in, these third parties may set cookies or similar identifiers:

• Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-56MCX065BY), to count visits and see which models and pages people look at. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses, and Google Consent Mode is set to denied until you opt in.
• Meta Pixel (ID 922949356947279), to measure our Facebook and Instagram advertising and to show ads to people who have visited this site.

If you refuse, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, neither of the above is loaded at all. The site works exactly the same either way.

A few pages include content served directly by another company, described in section 4: the Google map on our Contact page, the dealer locator, the job listings on our Careers page, and 3D walkthroughs. That company receives your IP address when the content loads and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

4. Service providers

These companies process information on our behalf, only as needed to run the site:

• Cloudflare hosts this website and provides the Turnstile check that protects our forms from automated abuse. Turnstile is used instead of a traditional CAPTCHA and does not track you across sites.
• Resend delivers the email generated by our contact forms.
• MailerLite stores newsletter subscriptions and sends our emails.
• Google Maps provides the map on our Contact page and the dealer locator on our Find a Dealer page. When you open either page, your browser loads the map directly from Google.
• Paylocity, our recruiting provider, supplies the current job openings shown on our Careers page in an embedded frame that your browser loads directly from Paylocity. If you apply through that frame, Paylocity handles your application under its own privacy policy. The resume form elsewhere on that page comes straight to us as described in section 1.
• Matterport hosts the 3D walkthroughs on some model pages. A walkthrough loads from Matterport only when you click to start it.
• Facebook posts on our homepage are fetched by our server and delivered from this website, so viewing them does not send your information to Meta. Clicking a post takes you to Facebook.
• Google and Meta, only if you opt in to analytics or advertising as described above.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the advertising cookies you opt into.

5. How long we keep it

Form emails live in our business email account and are kept as long as they are useful to answer you and to keep a record of the inquiry. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California (CCPA/CPRA), Delaware (DPDPA), Maryland (MODPA), Virginia, Colorado and other states with a consumer privacy law, you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we have collected about you and why
• get a copy of it
• correct information that is wrong
• ask us to delete it
• opt out of targeted advertising, of any sale or sharing of personal information, and of profiling
• not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights

To make a request, contact us using the details in section 9 and tell us what you would like. We will verify your identity by replying to the email address we already hold or by asking for enough detail to match your request to our records. We answer within the time the applicable law allows, normally 45 days. You may use an authorized agent.

To opt out of advertising cookies immediately, use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information or Cookie settings in the footer. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal automatically.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
